The World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Paediatric Tumours, 5th Edition, Volume 7, has been published.

This volume specifically focused on the classification of paediatric cancers is the first of its kind in the history of the series. This new WHO Classification of Paediatric Tumours is intended to support the pathologist responsible for diagnosing the tumour and the multidisciplinary team tailoring treatment intensity to disease risk and matching patients to specific therapies.

This publication has informed the development of four new ICCR Paediatric datasets soon to be published.
