The World Health Organization (WHO) Classification of Digestive System Tumours, fifth edition, volume 1, has now been published at the WHO Bookshop.

This latest edition is the driver for the new Digestive tract suite of datasets currently being developed which includes datasets for Pancreas, Oesophagus, Stomach, Colorectal and Colorectal excisional biopsy (Polpectomy).

This series (also known as the WHO Blue Books) is regarded as the gold standard for the diagnosis of tumours and comprises a unique synthesis of histopathological diagnosis with digital and molecular pathology.
